The British Constitution Party exists to restore constitutional government, democratic accountability, national sovereignty, and equal justice under the law. We believe that liberty is best protected by a clear and binding constitution, accountable institutions, secure borders, sound money, and a state that serves its citizens rather than special interests. Our aim is not radical upheaval, but the lawful renewal of Britain’s political, legal, and economic foundations—ensuring that power is restrained, rights are protected, and the national interest is placed first.
Constitutional Reform & Governance
1. Codified British Constitution Introduce a written and codified British Constitution to define the limits of government power, protect civil liberties, and safeguard the public against authoritarian governance.
2. Constitutional Oversight Chamber Establish an independent constitutional chamber to ensure legislation and executive actions comply with the constitution.
3. Equal Justice Under the Law End all forms of discriminatory or “two-tier” justice and policing, ensuring equality before the law for all citizens.
4. Political Accountability Ensure lawful investigation and prosecution of current and former public officials where credible evidence of serious criminal wrongdoing exists, in accordance with due process.
5. Public Debate on the Monarchy Hold a national public debate and referendum on the future constitutional role of the monarchy. — Sovereignty, Borders & Immigration
